Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Full Time) Borough of Paramus (Bergen County)

Borough of Paramus, Bergen County, an EOE, is seeking a full-time, experienced municipal finance professional to serve as Deputy CFO. This position reports to the CFO. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the CFO in the maintenance/supervision over purchasing, payroll, tax collection, tax assessment, capital, grant, trust, and operating funds management, disbursement of funds, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, accounts payables/receivables, escrow management, and day to day supervision of staff. Three years experience in municipal finance preferred. Must be working towards or currently holds Certified Municipal Finance Officer Certification. Applicants must have strong management, math and analytical skills with a professional demeanor. Candidate must be proficient in Excel. Edmunds software knowledge preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience and in accordance with the Borough Salary Guide.
