Certified Tax Collector

TAX COLLECTOR  -   Deptford Township, (Gloucester County).  Seeking a candidate for a full-time position as Tax Collector.  Candidates must possess a valid N.J. Certified Municipal Tax Collector License and have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience and working knowledge of all statutory requirements for the collection, billing, enforcement & reporting functions with approximately 13,000 taxable line items.  Proficient in the computer software of Edmunds Tax System & Edmunds Financial System Software required.  Microsoft Office a plus with the ability to utilize the web.  Applicant shall be detail-oriented, well organized and able to multitask.  Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.  Salary is commensurate with experience.  Hours 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Certified Tax Collector

FULL-TIME CERTIFIED TAX COLLECTOR – CITY OF NORTHFIELD, (Atlantic County). FT position available immediately. Tax and Sewer Utility, approximately 3450 line items. Current CTC license, strong computer skills, and Edmunds experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred, but not required. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in a Tax Collector’s office. Responsibilities include tax and sewer billing and collection, maintaining detailed accounting records, enforcing the timely payments of accounts and enforcement of all applicable statutes regarding delinquent accounts, tax sales, liens, and foreclosures. REVENUE CLERK - RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP, (MORRIS COUNTY)- is accepting applications for a part-time Revenue Clerk in the Finance Department.  Candidates should have excellent communication, organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.  Previous experience using Municipal Software tax, utility & finance systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills and experience handling cash and checks required.  Candidates need to be motivated and detail oriented to work under the direction of the Certified Tax Collector.  The duties of the position include but are not limited to utility billing and collection, posting of tax payments, heavy customer contact including answering the telephone, responding to emails, and working with the public in person. Seeking a candidate for a full-time position as principal clerk to the tax collector.  The position requires a variety of clerical duties to service the needs of the residents of Stone Harbor in an efficient, professional, and friendly manner. Two years’ experience in a municipal tax office and/or utilities authority with statutory requirements for billing, collection, enforcement, reporting; certifications a plus; knowledge of tax statutes and utilities ordinances required. Proficient in the Edmunds (utilities) software system required. Knowledge of Vital Communications.Gov Tax Collection software, a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Applicant shall be detailed-oriented, well organized, and able to multitask. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
