CFO

Finance Officer

Woolwich Township (Gloucester County) seeks a Full Time Certified Municipal Finance Officer to perform the duties of CFO and supervise the Finance Department including but not limited to statutory requirements, including all state requirements as well as the preparation and oversight of the general ledger, municipal budget, payroll, pension reports, bank reconciliations, grants, purchasing and escrow accounts management. Applicant must possess a valid NJ Certified Municipal Finance Officer license or a Registered Municipal Accountant willing to obtain the NJ CMFO license.  Possess a minimum of two (2) years local government experience. Experience with Edmunds, familiarity with the FAST system, Excel and Word is required. Knowledge of CASA Payroll is preferred. In addition to the required financial skills, good communication and interpersonal skills are important for this position. Account Manager Tax Collections

Tax Collector Account Manager – Tax Collector’s Office – Cherry Hill Township, Camden County
Summary:  Responsible for processing billing and collections as directed by the Tax Collector. 
 Essential Functions:
Accurately processes all receipts for taxes, sewer and all Township departments.
  • Balances/reconciles cash/check/WIPP/Payargo batches daily.
  • Mortgage company bank code changes.
  • Lien calculations and redemptions.
  • Assists Tax Collector with annual tax sale.
  • Assists Tax Collector with billing processes.
  • Assists customers at counter and on telephone.
  • Assists staff with general office duties including filing and record keeping.Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Tax Collector.
     Qualifications:
    Candidate must have excellent math skills and ability to count, handle, and reconcile large amounts of cash.
  • Candidate must be accurate, attentive to detail, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including excellent customer service skills and flexible thinking.
  • Ability to handle inquiries and/or complaints tactfully and effectively.
  • State of N.J. Tax Collector’s License.
  • Knowledge of Edmunds Tax and Utility software.
     Other:
    Successfully pass a background check.
  • New Jersey residency required pursuant to NJSA 54:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), if selected for the position.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
  • Salary range $44,000-51,000 based on qualifications
