     Chief Financial Officer
The historic CITY OF BORDENTOWN (Burlington) is seeking a CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER to join our team. This one square mile is a “Little City with a Lot of Charm” filled with rich history, a vibrant downtown, a thriving restaurant scene, a convenient location, and a welcoming and engaged citizenry. The City of Bordentown delivers a full range of services to the community via a $6+ million municipal budget and a $3+ million utilities budget (Water). The municipality has stable finances with an A+ bond rating.
This position requires certification from the State of NJ as a Certified Municipal Finance Officer (CMFO); relevant experience in the management of municipal finances, along with office administration and personnel management. Experience with municipal utility finances is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Edmunds. QPA, and grant application/administration experience is a plus. The City of Bordentown is looking for a CFO who can evaluate all aspects of current financial and office operations, and provide advice on recommended changes, improvements, reorganization, etc. In addition to the required financial skills, good communication and interpersonal skills are vital for this position.      Assistant Tax Collector
ASSISTANT MUNICIPAL TAX COLLECTOR – The TOWNSHIP OF BRICK (Ocean) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced municipal tax professional to assist in the administration of the Tax Collector’s Office. Responsibilities include assisting with preparation of tax sale and foreclosures, county updates, MOD IV changes regarding sub-divisions and consolidations, review of state reports and monthly reconciliation reports, statutory requirements and deadlines, and review/updating of bid specifications for billing.
The candidate must be detail oriented, accurate, self-directed and able to maintain the strictest confidentiality when necessary.  Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Familiarity with H & L Software and Microsoft Office is preferred.
A minimum of two years of experience with municipal tax collection required. A current, valid Tax Collector’s certificate required.

     Tax Collector/Finance Office Assistant
TAX COLLECTOR/FINANCE OFFICE ASSISTANTPITMAN BOROUGH, (Gloucester County) is seeking a full time Certified Tax Collector/Finance Office Assistant, with NJ State Certification issued by DCA.  Approximately 3200 line items.  Must be proficient in Edmunds MCSJ.  Performing the work involved in billing/collecting of both property taxes and water and sewer payments, serves as Tax Search Officer, and all duties associated with the Municipal Finance Office.  Thorough knowledge of municipal tax collection statutory laws and practices.  Must possess strong interpersonal skills necessary for daily contact with the public.  Must by proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Other duties include tax sales, lien redemptions, quarterly delinquent notices, tax appeals, replying to OPRA requests, and knowledge of Payment in Lieu of Taxes.  The successful candidate must have five years’ experience as a Certified Tax Collector.  All candidates should be available to work 40 hours per week.  Salary commensurate with experience.  Please send resume and cover letter to Judy O’Donnell, Borough Clerk/Administrator, 110 S.
