Certified Tax Collector TAX COLLECTOR - HIGHLAND PARK BOROUGH
The Borough of Highland Park in Middlesex County is seeking a part-time Certified Tax Collector to oversee the tax collection process. Responsible for all statutory requirements including maintenance, collection and accounting for 3597 tax line items. The position requires at five years of experience as a tax collector and applicants must have strong customer service, math and analytical skills, and working knowledge of all legal requirements for tax collection, reporting, tax lien sales and redemptions. Knowledge of Edmunds software and municipal utility collections is highly preferred. Note that the Borough is also looking for a part-time certified CMFO; but will consider a full-time position for those individuals that possess both CTC and CMFO credentials.

Tax Clerk TAX CLERK/CLERICAL SUPPORT STAFF – The BOROUGH OF WEST CAPE MAY (Cape May County), is seeking a full-time Tax Clerk, who will also assist with clerical duties in other departments when needed. Tax office experience preferred but not required, including the knowledge of municipal tax collection laws and practices and Edmunds software. Duties include collecting payments, printing delinquent notices, and assisting the Tax Collector with the Tax Sale, billing, tax appeals, lien redemptions, PD5 forms, and other related job functions. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. Ability to deal with strict time schedules in the collection of Borough taxes. Must pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check and must have valid NJ Driver’s license.
