Tax Collector The TOWNSHIP OF WATERFORD (Camden County) is seeking a full-time, hands on Tax Collector/Utility Collector. The applicant should currently hold a valid NJ Tax Collector’s certificate issued by the DCA and have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in municipal tax and utility billing and collections. The applicant should be able to perform all functions of the tax office including all aspects of billing, collection, enforcement and reporting as defined in N.J.S.A. 5:23-3.1. Also, the applicant should be proficient with Edmunds software for both tax and utility programs as well as Excel and Microsoft Word.
This is a hands-on position with the Collector not only being responsible for managing the Tax/Utility Collections office but must also be willing and able to perform each and every task in the office.
